playing with pretty paper, part 1

Lately there have been a lot of cute paper pads available at great prices, making them hard to resist. I decided that, since I wasn't in the mood to scrapbook per se, but wanted to play, I would do a "perfect collection" type job on a couple paper pads. That way, I was still playing, and using the paper, but there was no pressure. Up first: My Sunshine stack from DCWV at Joanns, a bargain for $12.
I also pulled out my stack of Scrapbook Generations sketchbooks and used the paper placement (and disregarded photo placement) to make some backgrounds.

There were two of this single page layout, one for me and one for my sister.
And I made some single page layouts for Terri to use. There are 2 of each of these:

And finally, some cards:

So...
8    8.5x11 double layouts
2    8.5x11 single layouts
12  12x12 single layouts
6    cards

Not bad for $12. A couple sheets I put aside for the giveaway pile and all the small scraps went to recycling.
